JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

With Greystar’s continued expansion in Australia, we are seeking a Senior Accountant, Property Development to join our Melbourne team on a 12-month fixed term contract.

This newly created role is dedicated to supporting our development business line. Working closely with the Finance Manager (Property & Development) and our project teams, you will be responsible for managing project budgets, analysing actuals vs budgets, ensuring accurate and timely reporting, and supporting process improvements.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Key responsibilities:

  • Monitor and manage development project budgets, analysing actuals vs budgets, and providing reporting support on timeframes and key milestones.

  • Oversee the recording of project costs, including contract administration and compliance tracking.

  • Prepare reconciliations and ensure the accuracy of project financial records.

  • Support the transition of new properties while maintaining continuity of existing operations.

  • Partner with the development team to improve processes, tidy records, and enhance system use.

  • Provide financial and reporting support to ensure compliance and accuracy across all projects.
