Roles & Responsibilities
- Team Management: The role will involve line management of 2-3 BI Developers/Data Analysts. Managing their workload through effective backlog management and identifying most efficient means of meeting business needs will be critical.
- Data Strategy Development: Develop and execute a comprehensive data strategy aligned with the company's business objectives.
- Prioritization & Product Roadmap Planning: Define and prioritize features and functionalities for data products and develop a roadmap that outlines the evolution of data products over time.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and successful execution of data product initiatives.
- Data Governance: Establish and enforce data governance policies and best practices
- Data Integration: Collaborate with IT teams and Data Engineering team to integrate and manage data from various sources into the company's data infrastructure.
- Product Development Lifecycle Management: Oversee the end-to-end product development lifecycle including adoption of solutions.
- Performance Monitoring and Analytics: Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the success and effectiveness of data products.
- Stakeholder Management: Engage with internal stakeholders, external partners, and customers to gather feedback, prioritize requirements, and communicate product updates and enhancements.
- Create and Maintain Product Backlog
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks and challenges associated with data products and develop mitigation strategies to address them proactively.
- Continuous Improvement: Foster a culture of continuous improvement by soliciting feedback, conducting retrospectives, and iterating on data products
- Thought Leadership: Stay abreast of industry best practices, emerging trends, and innovations in data management and product management.
- Manage the process of collecting, organizing, storing and sharing data with an organization.
- Support respective departments with wider process including but not limited to budgeting process, rent setting and leasing process.
Relevant Skills & Qualifications
- Highly competent in PowerBI-including Report creation, DAX, M and Data Modelling (Mandatory)
- Experience in PowerBI-Workspace management and security management (Desirable)
- Highly competent in utilising Databricks or similar data lake and/or data warehouses (Mandatory)
- Experience working to build Machine Learning models (Mandatory)
- Certified Scrum Product Owner (Desirable)
- Certified Product Manager (Desirable)
- Fluent in English (Mandatory)
- Working Level in one of these languages Spanish/German/French (Desirable)
- Experience working in Real Estate (Desirable)
- Experience managing a team (Desirable)
