JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

This role supports the development and implementation of marketing-related strategies, projects, campaigns, and other initiatives by participating in conceptualizing, designing, and producing the creative and graphics components of various marketing collateral materials. The position engages with the Community Manager, Resident Service Manager of Leasing & Marketing, and key University stakeholders to understand and define the scope and graphics design requirements for marketing projects, participates in brainstorming and other discussions to propose and agree on creative concepts, and contributes creative suggestions for maximizing project goals, occupancy, and University stakeholder goals. The role coordinates and communicates with Community Manager, Resident Service Manager of Leasing & Marketing, key University stakeholders, and other team members as needed to ensure the on-time and on-budget delivery of final products. The position uses state-of-the art software tools and applies best practices to achieve established quality standards for graphics and marketing-related materials and presents and seeks feedback on work products.

JOB DESCRIPTION

•    Support development and implementation of marketing-related strategies, projects, campaigns, and other initiatives by conceptualizing, designing, and producing the creative and graphics components of various marketing collateral materials and products, including for web, e-mail, print, and digital marketing campaigns.
•    Engage and collaborate with Community Manager, Resident Service Manager of Leasing & Marketing, and key University stakeholders to understand the scope of marketing-related projects and to define and the goals, purpose, and outcomes of finished products, and offer suggestions, recommendations, and other ideas on creative concepts, designs, and overall graphics design approach to maximize results.
•    Assist in the development and implementation of short- and long-term marketing plans and goals to increase and sustain occupancy.

•    Participate in and support the end-to-end brand development process for the Office of Housing & Residence Life (and its communities) from ideation to logo design and creation, production of brand toolkits, design and production of collateral materials (such as, but not limited to, floor plans, sitemaps, brochures, HTML Rich e-mail templates, banners, billboards, and digital signage), and website content creation and management.
•    Participate in the design and execution of marketing initiatives to create and drive traffic to community, including resident referral and employer outreach programs, using internet marketing tools, and following other competitor's marketing plans, social media posts, etc.
•    Review and ensure all marketing collateral, digital and printed marketing materials are consistent with and meet departmental and university brand standards for mission, core values, voice, colors, logos, trademarks, typography, and videography. Evaluate and offer feedback and suggestions for improving or enhancing graphics and creative design on marketing collateral, websites, and other marketing and promotional materials.
•    Perform other duties as assigned or as necessary.

Additional Compensation:

Many factors go into determining employee pay within the posted range including business requirements, prior experience, current skills and geographical location.

  • Corporate Positions: In addition to the base salary, this role may be eligible to participate in a quarterly or annual bonus program based on individual and company performance.

  • Onsite Property Positions: In addition to the base salary, this role may be eligible to participate in weekly, monthly, and/or quarterly bonus programs.
