JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

This position is responsible for the ongoing development and implementation of an activities program designed to meet the social and physical needs of community residents. Responsibilities include the planning, assigning and managing the development of recreational, educational, cultural and other programs geared to the needs of the specific community(ies). Additional responsibilities include selecting 3rd party vendors and ensuring the scheduling of various activities programs and continuously evaluating the effectiveness processes, procedures and programs and recommends changes as required.

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Manage a team of Resident Activities employees who are responsible for coordinating activities and programs for residents at community sites. 
  • Research, evaluate, develop and ensure the implementation of various resident activity programs for specific community property sites that are specifically tailored for the needs of the residents. 
  • Establish and manage relationship with relevant 3rd party vendors who may be providing service to the communities; Recruits, researches, and approves schedules and supervises programs leaders, general contractor entertainers, volunteers, other professionals and vendors. 
  • May be directly responsible for the scheduling of various events, activities, etc as well as all facets and details relevant to the events. 
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of any related operating processes, procedures, etc, makes recommendations for modifications and implements any changes accordingly. 
  • Engage and motivate residents resulting in.

The salary range for this position is $70,000 - $86,000.

Additional Compensation:

Many factors go into determining employee pay within the posted range including business requirements, prior experience, current skills and geographical location.

  • Corporate Positions: In addition to the base salary, this role may be eligible to participate in a quarterly or annual bonus program based on individual and company performance.

  • Onsite Property Positions: In addition to the base salary, this role may be eligible to participate in weekly, monthly, and/or quarterly bonus programs.
