Key Responsibilities:
- Market Expansion: Identify new opportunities and partnerships to drive growth, enhance market presence, and maximize returns on investment.
- Strategic Site Selection: Conduct in-depth financial analyses and manage the process of site identification, entitlement process, land acquisition, and diligent spending of pursuit capital.
- Project Management: Oversee the entitlement process with precision—forecasting costs, maintaining budgets, and ensuring that schedules, quality, and standards align with company policies.
- End-to-End Project Oversight: Oversee all aspects of development projects, from site selection, purchase and sale agreement negotiations and acquisition to design, construction, final delivery—ensuring milestones are met on time and within budget, and disposition
- Team Leadership: Inspire and mentor a high-performing development team by hiring, training, and managing talent to achieve excellence.
- Collaborative Growth: Partner closely with regional business leaders and discipline team heads to ensure alignment in achieving financial and growth objectives while fostering relationships with clients, investors, and key stakeholders.
- Investment Insight: Present proposed development projects at Investment Committee meetings, working alongside the Project Finance team to explore financing options and navigate complex joint venture agreements and loan documents to closing
- Strategic Direction: Contribute to shaping the broader company strategy by sharing insights and acting as a trusted liaison between team members, clients, and executive leadership.
- Communication Excellence: Ensure seamless coordination across teams, consultants, and project members to keep activities on track and well-aligned.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a senior leader in real estate development, with a track record of successfully executing high-profile multifamily projects in the Atlanta Metro.
- Deep knowledge of market dynamics and development lifecycles.
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills to inspire teams and build lasting partnerships.
- A strategic mindset with the ability to balance big-picture vision and detail-oriented execution.
- A Senior Director level candidate may be considered with a growth path to the Managing Director role.

Additional Compensation:
Many factors go into determining employee pay within the posted range including business requirements, prior experience, current skills and geographical location.
Corporate Positions: In addition to the base salary, this role may be eligible to participate in a quarterly or annual bonus program based on individual and company performance.
Onsite Property Positions: In addition to the base salary, this role may be eligible to participate in weekly, monthly, and/or quarterly bonus programs.
